Can Organizers–Product Review 013

For this review I got to try out a product that I’d never seen before: cardboard can organizers.  If you are not familiar with can organizers, they are meant to store and rotate cans for food storage.  By loading cans at the top, and removing from the bottom, the oldest cans are used first.  This also assures that they don’t sit too long.

 

 

Advantage

The advantage of these cardboard can organizers, compared to plastic, is that they are easily shipped and you assemble them yourself, keeping the price down.

 

 

Assembly

It took me roughly a half-hour to learn how to assemble then put together the flat cardboard  sheets that were shipped.  I watched the assembly video on You Tube five times while following along (since I wasn’t clever enough to figure it out from the included instructions), then felt like I had it down.  If you get different sizes, I would suggest starting with the smallest ones first because it’s less bulk while you’re learning how to assemble.

 

 

Sizes

There are three sizes of can organizers: cupboard, shelf, and pantry.  I copied some information from the website about dimensions and capacity below:

 

The Cupboard Organizer 4 Pack for $11.96, is able to hold cans of multiple sizes: 6 Pie filling, 8 Vegetable , 9 Soup, and18 Tuna.

My favorite size is the pantry organizer, since it’s the exact depth of my shelves in my cold storage, where I keep all my cans.
